Verse 100

At the last chapter the pilgrim reached the far side and found no throne.

Verse 101

There was no judge, no gatekeeper, no hidden city, and no final password.

Verse 102

Only the same scarred ground turning beneath the same immeasurable dark.

Verse 103

The pilgrim laughed because every map had marked this place UNKNOWN.

Verse 104

Unknown to whom? asked the silence.

Verse 105

He removed the names Human, Ascended, Demon, and Jinn and set them in the dust.

Verse 106

They did not follow him.

Verse 107

He removed the name Moon and the sky remained.

Verse 108

He removed his own name and nothing necessary was lost.

Verse 109

Then, for the first time, there was no far side.
