Verses

You say the boundary dissolved. First tell me who owned the boundary.

A vision of ten thousand oceans is still an object appearing to awareness.

Do not worship the blue vastness merely because the cage has prettier walls there.

The dreamer who discovers he is dreaming has learned much; the dreamer who becomes proud of lucid dreams has learned little.

Neptune dissolves names, but the nameless is not produced by dissolution.

Bliss comes and goes. Therefore bliss, too, is seen.

If you meet a god in meditation, ask whether the god was present in deep sleep.

The mind loves infinity because infinity gives it an endless place to continue being mind.

Surrender every image, even the image of surrender.

The wave need not become the sea. It has never been other than water.

Do not drown the ego theatrically. Look for it soberly and fail to find it.

The cat on the cushion has no doctrine of turiya, yet wakes, dreams, sleeps, and remains mysteriously unembarrassed.

When the seer, seeing, and seen are examined, the sacred fog loses its employment.

What remains needs neither Neptune nor a road away from Neptune.
