Traveler, the seventh gate is not crossed by strength.

The first six gates take possessions, titles, loyalties, memories, hopes, and explanations.

At the seventh, the keeper asks for the one who surrendered them.

The archons survive on identification.

They offer crowns to anyone desperate enough to remain somebody.

Refuse the crown without making an identity of refusal.

Refuse the prison without constructing a heroic prisoner.

Saturn's wall is strongest where you need it to prove your story.
