People call awakening sudden because the sentence I understand has a timestamp.

Verse 31

But the conditions may have been gathering for years beneath that instant.

A branch breaks suddenly after slow weight.

Water boils at an apparent threshold after every previous degree helped.

Verse 34

Uranus symbolizes lightning in modern astrology; lightning itself is a negotiation long prepared by charge.

Do not fetishize the flash.

Verse 36

A dramatic insight that changes nothing is spiritual fireworks.

Verse 37

A quiet understanding that changes how you grasp every thought may look unimpressive and be irreversible.

The seeker wants an event because events can be remembered and owned.

Verse 39

The Self is not improved by an event.

Verse 40

What changes is the conviction that you were the limited thing appearing within it.

Even this sentence can become another conviction if not examined.

So examine.

If realization comes like thunder, good.

If it comes like a cat realizing a door was open all along, also good.

Only the imagined prisoner insists the exit must be cinematic.
